Type R shifter on d16z6
I can get my hands on a 2000 integra oem shifter and i want to put it in my stock 93 civic. Now I asked this question before but noboy gave a for sure answer. Will a 2000 integra shifter work in my car? And Do I use my existing shift linkage? Or from the 2000 integra?
Edit: I didn't mean to put Type R in the subject

You cant use the linkage thats for sure. And I know for a fact that the shifter is different too, I am pretty sure the base where the nut and bolt go through is too fat to fit in your stock linkage.
The bottom of the integra shifter is about 40% wider than the civic shifter, so you have to bend the end of the linkage out to get an integra shifter to fit in a civic. I've done it, I personally don't recommend it. Get the evasivemotorsports shifter, its only $35 and it works great.

It probably came off an old school integra, 86-89 tegs had D16a's.

<--- Drove Dustin's car with the teg shifter, and it felt like ****. Find something that'll fit properly, the difference in feel will be well worth the difference in price.
