154k miles..dont know how good ur block is..wouldnt last long with a turbo. there have been many posts about how to add power. i could basically list anything. you need to list projected hp amount and the money your willing to spend. dont sit here and say u want 800 whp and have 300 dollars to spend.

well im looking for a quarter time but also be able to drive everyday..so im looking for something easy but not to crazy. I really dont want to swap a H22 because thats around 5 grand.. i dont have that kind of money just laying around, and im only going to get 200 hp, and i belive i already have around 140, so theres no point to that.... i know theres more options if i do that but i really dont want to, im looking to go all motor, with it being realiable. money on the other hand... im a kid so i dont have the money to do crazy stuff! bolt ons is kinda where im leaning towards.

Go to http://preludepower.com, go to Forum on the left, then go to the 3rd gen forum. Those guys can tell you all you need to know about your car, so browse around there for a while

yeah but are you swapping it into a 3rd gen?

it'll take some custom work to get it to fit.

you're better off throwing a b16 in a 3rd gen to keep the nose from being too heavy.

the b20 in the 3rd gen isn't honda's best engine. They tend to be grenades because of the long stroke.

96 Accord- Direct swap

Accords are lighter than Preludes anyway but the extra 60lbs over my old engine wont make that much of a difference since im getting a carbon fiber hood.

regardless of whether there are mounts made for a h22 swap into a 3rd gen, the fact remains that it's not going to cost 1950 to swap in an h22 like it would for a 5th gen. Whether a company makes a kit or you have to make one yourself, putting in a h22 in a 3rd gen isn't as simple as it is when you throw one into a 4th or 5th.

You could allways throw on a B18 vtec head with the ECU, Intake, and harness. That will give you bottom end torque with the vtec topend power, if the motor will be able to take it.

Before you do anything on your engine make sure it has good compression, and inspect and replace nessesary things requires when doing a tune-up. Dont forget that fuel filter or distributor cap and rotor.
A vtec head on a b20a isn't a good idea at all IMO. The b20a is designed for lower/mid rpm use, and vtecs are designed to run efficiently at very high rpm. Running this engine at high rpm's to gain the power from the vtec head would be putting huge amounts of internal stress on the engine and of course it wouldn't last long at all.
Like said above, a header will increase the power more than normal, the b20/21 header sucks *** from the factory. The intake, 4-6 seems a bit "good" but who am I to say...
Just uncork your exhaust, get an intake, advance the ignition timing ect.... dont waste your money on hyped up spark plugs or plug wires, just get NGK plugs and factory wires (or "performance" wires if cheaper).
If you want to have ALOT of fun with the lude, dont forget the suspension. The suspension on the 3g lude is the most coveted part of our cars. If there is anything special about our cars, it will be the suspension (and 4ws!). Good tires are a must in case you dont have them, power without grip, sport suspension without grip, useless. Get GOOD tires and increase the performance of your braking, handling, acceleration, and overall increase the sharpness of the steering as if it isn't already sharp enough.
