Default Bad Vibration

I need help. My steering wheel shakes sometimes but not always. You can feel it through-out the whole car. The car is perfectly aligned and the tires are balanced. The axels are mint and the car has never been in an accident. Axels are tight, wheels are true and tight. Ball joints are fine. The only thing that I thing may be wrong is the intermidiate shaft bering might be a little worn, it seems to be a little loose but im not sure if this is a servicable bearing or not. The car is lowered and has alot of camber but it been like that for the last 50,000 miles. Like I said, the vibration comes and goes and changes under acceleration and turning. IF someone has experienced a problem similar to this or may know what the problem is it would be greatly apprciated.

sounds like your tires are worn Or you have a warped rotor, Do you feel it when using the brakes?

What speeds do the vibrations occur at? Is it under acceleration conditions? What does it do when you decelerate? What happens when you brake? Give me some speeds it occurs at.

The more information you give us, the better we can help you.

If the tires are balanced perfect you have a bent rim. If you feel it in the steering wheel its on the front, if you feel it in your seat its the rear.

I feel it in the steering wheel. If it was a bent wheel than it would be perinent but it comes and goes. It gets worst at higher speeds. It gets better under braking. I'm lost. I'll try putting my winter tiers and wheels on and see what happens.

It could be a tire then.

coulda bent something in the suspension slightly, throwing off your alignment and causing uneven tire wear. happened to me before. brand new tires suddenly were wearing bald on the inside and developed a very noticable shake that got progressively worse at higher speeds.

If it is an intermittant problem, check your tire for excessive runout. If it happens under braking conditions, it could possibly your rotors being warped.

Check you tires first. It may be out of round or have a seperated belt.
