Default removing front seat... wire connected to bottom??

i wa staking out my drivers seat so i canclean up the car a bit and when i was ready to take it out i heard a rip,, and theres a cord on the bottom of the seat? i have a stock dx sedan 92. please help

It's the seatbelt sensor thing. The icon lights up when the car is started and your seatbelt is not on.

its connected to ur srs system .. if u have one in that vehicle. if u unplug it then ur airbags wont work properly and you'll have to reset the circuit in order to turn the light off

try being more careful with your car...instead of 'ripping' your seats out.... idiot....you dont need the wire hooked up either...just put the seat back in and drive into a wall.....going really fast
