I know I'm kinda breaking the rules and I know how much we all hate these threads but I was trying to think of a cheap setup for my friend to get started and I started tossing around the idea of taking a D15, running VX rods and pistons, to bump compression, and like a Gude head, tuned on turbodata or uber probably. Any opinions? Any idea what compression I'd be looking at assuming we ran a OEM 3-layer and an unmilled head?
