d16a6 compression ?
OK, so heres the lowdown:
I really want to piece together a custom 14b/starion/hf setup utilizing DSM parts.
I've got a balanced and blueprinted bottom end, I/h/e, and a shaved head with a full port and polish. Only problem is that I'm running 11:1 compression which is a little high for a 6-7 psi daily driver setup. What is the ideal c/r and what can I do to keep compression lower and still utilize my head? I dont really have the time or funds right now for new pistons or any internals. I'm thinking about stacking head gaskets. Do you guys think this is advisable or worthwhile?
Thanks guys

I'd leave it alone and just take alittle more timing out of it than usual,6-7psi isnt much anyway.I think stacking headgaskets is a bad idea.

11:1 boosted really makes me nervous
how much retard, if any is appropriate in your opinion?
What do you guys think about this particular setup, has anybody got an idea what kind of numbers it can put down?

You will get more problems trying to use thick head gaskets or stacking them. Get a good tuning device like Hondata and make sure you see a good tuner. I'm sure you will be able to to run 6-7psi.. How much power probably around 200whp.

Re: d16a6 compression ? (turbozxi)
if i were me and i am, i wouldn't boost 11:1 c/r with pump gas. maybe if i was brewing my own high octane mixture OR using propane injection.
i'd go with a propane injection kit, and then boost it!! :-)

How much should I be prepared to spend on tuning?
would DSM 450's and SAFC work or would I be better off with hondata or zdyne?
