Overheated V-tech block!
I recently bought an overheated B16a? block from a performance shop in Sullivan, WI. An older guy who owned the car and it came from 1993 Accord. He overheated and I am not sure what kind of damage it caused. I need pistons, machine work (head, and cylinders). If i bought pistons, rings, wrist pins, main bearings and everything else I needed, could I have the cylinders bored at any old machine shop (bumper to bumper). Also, what would be the best company to got for the hard parts? I'm mechanicaly inclined but have never done this before.

haha, if there was a b16 in an accord, it wouldnt be able to move the car.
could you imagine a b16 in a prelude
.
but you probly have an H22, they drop right in on those cars. look next to the exhaust manifold where the tranny bolts up. there is a square piece with the engine code on it.

Hey thanks for the tips! Like I said i'm kind of new to the foreign motors and there technical definitions. Experience makes a difference and on this side of things I don't have much.
