when you get it, or if you get it... take it apart. and take the block to get hotanked, bored, and hoaned ect... to get a new surface for the new pistons. and get the head cleaned while its out of the car.also replace all the old bearings.seals ect..

Be careful buying that shortblock.
I know people who have gotten "great deals" on blown motors in the past, and hae just ditched them because of the extensive pricing on a revamped block.
The sleeves could have shifted/cracked, and you will never know by looking.
Even if you are going to completely rebuild your engine, the piece of mind that accompanies you with a motor that you know ran when it was taken out of the car is priceless.
Just my $.02

If i were to use that block, a resleave and bore from ge would be a must. If you arn't currently runnig a b series, i would sudgest saving for a complete swap. Trying to piece one together starting from a blown block is going to be very pricy.
edit: even if the block was free, not worth the trouble to mess with in my opionion
