Default Hondata releases the K100

The k100 is a circuit board that is installed in your ECU in a similar fashion to the K-Series programmable ECU (K-Pro) at a much lower cost. It allows your Hondata dealer to install a custom flash program based off any of the programs supplied with the K-Pro or any program of their own design. A dealer can also custom tune, using their K-Pro, a map specifically tailored for the customers car.

Unlike the K-Pro, the k100 does not have datalogging nor does it have programming capability. Programming and installation are done by your Hondata dealer.

So if you just plan on getting i/h/e how exactly will the k100 benefit you over just a reflash? Also i know with the JRSC if you have a reflash already, your ecu needs to be flashed back to stock, meaning the SC works with the parameters and settings of the stock ecu. Anyone know now if the k100 will now somehow benefit SC users?

as far as I understand, the K100 is like a customizable reflash. the dealer can plug it into their machien and load any configuration they put in. then give you that configuration. the reflash was made just for a cold air. if you're getting just i/h/e there shouldn't be any huge difference (yes there will be difference) between the original #4 and a dealer customized K100....configuration? what should we call this?

I imagine this way, JR,CT,whoever else can distribute their reflashes without you having to send in your ECU to hondata.
