I hear a strange clicking sound all of a sudden... i think it might be my heat shield, but it's scaring me!

I dont see how i'de be getting detonation under 5psi??

 

you can get detonation at 1psi if things aren't running right... the JRSC boys get tip in detonation.. unless they came up with a miracle cure... lay off the boost until you figure out what it is..

are you running lean around that rpm? what does your EGT or air/fuel look like at that point.. EGT's shooting up? air/fuel leaning out? is your timing advanced,retarded or stock? whats your fuel setup?

post your performance related mods.. we need more info..

 

When i hit boost i shoot into rich. timing is stock. fuel system is stock other than a FMU.

 

Could be an exhuast leak, is it only at 6k+? could be valve chatter. or lots of other things

 

I only hear it when I push it... when its in boost.
