I have them on my ground control coilovers. If you dont' go crazy with the drop, they are decent.

They are worth buying if you are on a budget and i installed them myself.

I gott'em on the front and back with Tein S springs. The ride is pretty good. It does take minute for the springs to relax to the right height.

they're ok, as long as you aren't lowered too much. remember that they're a stock replacement, not a performance shock.

I recently bought a std hatch for a beater. I noticed from the get-go it rode damn nice for a complety stock car. First time i checked it out i noticed the GR2s. They look like they have been on it for a long time, but still ride beautifully.
Definatly a great oem replacement. Noticably better ride than oem shocks, IMO.
For performance oriented suspension, they arent the best choice though..

The ride height is okay. The drop is not so low that you need camber correction. The only thing is spring take moment to get to the correct height.

O/T: how long does it take to make the spring correct it's height?

I have them on eibach sportline springs all around.

The ride is garbage. You feel EVERYTHING. But the car isnt boucy at all, very minimal bodyroll and it handles well.

They aren't really made for lowered cars, hence the poor performance.

ok instead of creating a new topic and wasting hondatech's bandwith i decided to bring this post alive.. to ask everyone who owns EF hatchbacks which shock absorber is the best to use on our car

TOKICO HP

or

KYB GR2

and if u have experience on either one of the shocks mentioned above, pls post your comments about the product good or bad because im thinking of going with the tokico cause it's $50 cheaper haha

thanks!

i have the tein s tech and they are nice conservative springs that ride very well. They do not offer the crazy performance of other lower springs with more neg camber, but they are a little stiffer than stock and your tires will last longer because there is very little camber wear.
i installed the KYB AGX 4 way adjustables and they were too stiff even on the lowest setting. i actually like my 13 yr old shocks better????---wtf
i will probably be upgrading the shocks to GR2s soon.

if you want more performance-- i love the H&R sport springs on my friend's CRX. and to match the stiffer springs get some performance shocks

hmmm.. so ok, i will get the tein s tech.. since i get alot of positive feedback from the people i asked who used it.. well im still having problems figuring out which shock to buy, the tokico blue a.k.a (HP) <-- cheap one too.. or the rather little expensive one the KYB GR2
