Break upgrades for DA
Hi people.
Just wondering if there is a simple break upgrade for the DA 90-93 integra (factory Parts). Heard that legand breaks might work, not sure.

i'm pretty sure the legend stuff involves moving to five lug...
you can do the itr 5 lug conversion, but it involves having the hub machined to fit the DA wheel bearings. it's not TOO big a deal, but might not be worth it. this will give you bigger brakes. there are also a variety of further upgrades to the itr brakes like the spoon and mugen caliper packages and so on.
also look into aftermarket companys. i know for a fact wilwood has some stuff that fits our DA's. others may as well. might look for the AEM big brake kit, although i don't know if they have a DA application.
good luck and props for choosing a SMART part of the car to upgrade

Is that how you got your 701 posts.....saying BUMP all the time? Cause I mostly see you saying "bump" on different posts here. : / (No offence, just curious)

True, you will not be able to use the stock 14' wheels, but you can get away with 15' stock wheels such are gs-r fat fives or blades. Since i see that your avitar has a DA with fat fives I'm going to assume that is your car, so I guess your already covered in that area. Good luck.

damn, good eyes, man. or maybe you're on 640x480
what is the offset of the legend studs? you may have to redrill them to accomodate the integra studs so you can use the legend brakes.

Ditto bro, there's a few write-ups on this conversion on G2IC (maybe here too)... The idea is buying an 11" 4x100 rotor from Fastbrakes.com and then mounting up an NSX or Legend 2-piston caliper to it. The caliper/mounting bracket requires some shaving to fit properly. But like said above, Prelude rotors fit as well but they need to be redrilled to 4x100 measurements (they're a little bigger than they should be).
The key word in all of that is http://www.fastbrakes.com. This site sells everything you need at very, very decent prices.
