dammit i was just wondering why isnt my aem cai making intense noise when i hit vtec...its seriously pissin me off i installed it last month in the beggining it made that braaaahhhhh crazy noise during vtech but it went away i didnt get use to it cause my friends notice that...one of my buddies has si aem cai and its loud intense on his all he has is just cai and catback....but damit is there anyway i can get that noise back....thanx

Have you checked your filter, maybe it's dirty. Other than that I don't know what the problem could be. I've had mine for a year and it sounds just like it did the first day I got it.

 

quick! before you get really really flamed, edit your post and change vtech to vtec. now now now

 

thanx man u saved me.....well my filter i dont think is k&n....cause when i bought it the people told me it was either aem filter or something else i cant really remember but would the filter have to do with any part of this crazyness noise making i want...cause i want it back....oh ya and vtec i hear no vtec it sounds like regular motor....but someone help...thanx

 

forgot to mention one thing i dotn have bypass valve...i dunno if thats anything for this noise but my buddie with the si...he has it and my buddie with the itr also has it...both make that noise i want back...

 

maybe ur secondaries arent opening

 

Check if you low on oil. Is your car fully warmed up when hitting VTEC?

 

thas weird... My car has AEM without the Bypass valve, and its loud as hell when I hit vtec. Especially after getting header and exhaust, VTEC is damn loud... but I enjoy it everytime...

 

how do i know if my secondary is not working....but i mean i do kinda feel it but i cant hear it....do u guys think i should change my filter and see what happens....if that doesnt work one of my buddies sayed i shoiuld re-install it and see what happens but if that doesnt work im just gonna buy a new cai...maybe injen or iceman but if u guys have better ideas please lemme know thanx
