cant seem to find the problem, just bought a EK 98 and the interior and exterior lights dim periodically. At idle it seems as if the engine is about to die......what could the problem be?

already has new battery and alternator is perfect.

 

Um it might not be grounded properly. but I don't know could be other things also... Someone on here might tell you what exactly to do to fix it, or link you up. Have you tried searching?

 

Adjust your idle so that it does not settle at such a low idle

 

how new is the alternator? i had the same problem i used to have a paseo.. the headlights used to dim when i came to a stop and the heater wouldnt blow as hard when i wasnt on the gas.. If your alternator is fairly new check the tension on the belt.. but im pretty sure it has somethin to do with ur alternator.. if it wasnt grounded properly they wouldnt work at all..
