I just bought some jdm headlights today and as i was installing them i ran into a problem. i have a prelude motor in my 92 hatch and so the alternator sits in the front of the motor. so as i put it in the rear of the headlights touches the back of the headlights. what can i do to make it fit? could i get a shorter alternator belt? you guys with h22 eg hatch tell me what you did to make it fit.

Yeah the driver's side headlight won't fit. What I did to mine was cut off the part of the headlight that was interfering and put some plastic wrap over hole and covered it with tape . It sounds really stupid but I haven't had any problems with it. It has been like that for about a year now. Never any problems with water or moisture getting in.

 

Damn Im havin the same problem. Not the solution I wanted to hear
