Definitely check the fluid level before you go replacing synchros.

I had the same exact problem but it did it in 3rd gear and when I brought the car in they replaced the syncros so........more than likely that's what it is...If your not doing it yourself be prepared for some serious $$$$$$$$ to have those installed by Honda/Acura...
