Hey guys, JUST purchased a Del Sol for my girlfriend (if you're interested about the story and such, read here)

Very eager to start working on it and getting it up to spec in terms of maintenence and such, first thing I would like to do is fix some of the stuff thats broken, in particular, the door hinge that keeps the door propped open is snapped.



Is this an easy part to replace?

Can someone direct me as to where I would be able to purchase a replacement part?

Has anyone experienced this problem also?

Looks like Part #20 - "Door Checker" - 26.47

Appears to be bolt and play, can anyone else confirm?

 

u can pick that up at any honda dealer or local junk yard

 

yea.. thats pretty easy to fix.. no worries'

 

replaced many all it is, is just 2 bolts very easy. I probally have one sitting around somewhere...I will look..

 

yeap, its an easy fix. i can vouch for majestic that theyre a good business to deal with. ive ordered a couple 1000$ worth of stuff form them and all has been oem honda stuff.

looks like the first thing u should be doing to ur girls car is vacuuming that beeotch out

 

If anyone has one of these parts I also need one for drivers side.

 

Beware of the hinge eventually breaking from the frame itself.
