Default head swap problem- help please

so i just got it together and it wont start, going crazy! 4 days now!
ok so spark and fuel are there-- checked compression -- it was 0 ZERO zilch!
forgot to reset valve lash-- all valves waaaay open or waaay closed-
so not that this is set i have another issue

I am finding oil where head meets block-- car still not started yet- just turning it over with no plugs or wires on to test compression, no idea where its coming from - if you stick your hand under the exhaust manifold and turbo its a clean line

yes we checked to make sure dowel pins were in - both on front side of motor
all gaskets were check.... no idea whre the oil is coming from?????

ive been told to check the distributer, and vtec sol.
any other ideas--- can it be a bad headgasket from honda?
