I had this done. You can get an OEM rebuild kit and get that cryo treated for less money. Click on this thread

im not sayin u cant, just sayin i didnt want to the guy who took my tranny out said its all internal damage not worth fixing.

it cost me $700 for labor and i forgot how much for parts pretty much got every thing at the junk yard, the car drives just like a base lude its just that i got a quaief lsd as well.

as far as level 10 goes i've only heard bad things if all u did was get their t.c. and the stock tranny couldnt handle it never heard anything bad of their kits but im sure u could find a better t.c.

If you search around, I think you can save some money on the parts in the Level 10 kit. All they really do is package soft parts with Raybestos clutches and steels. I would get the soft parts from Honda, and then source Raybestos Kevlar clutches and replacement steels. If you want the torque converter modified, you can contact Pro Torque ( http://www.protorque.com ). They do all of Level 10's converter modifications, and you can save about $100 going direct. The only thing I've heard about Level 10 is complaints regarding the quality of their work, that's all.

It's not a must. However, it will make up the lion's share of the advantage that a 5-speed has on an automatic. If you plan on having the transmission out of the car, this is an ideal time to get it done.
