It came on kind of sudden, but lately when I have the car in gear and I'm holding in the clutch it will still engage. The car shudders and jerks a bit and unless you put it in neutral it continues to do this. Sometimes it's really bad, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.. kind of depends on the day. It's also been grinding a lot lately, and getting very difficult at times to put into gear. While at other times it doesn't grind and is virtually smooth. The noises it makes when it does this are absolutely horrible to.. it makes me shudder every time.

I'm guessing the syncros are going bad.. but what else could be the problem here?

I'm going to get some GM Syncromesh tommorrow to see if that helps the situation at all, but I'm at least hoping that the tranny will last to January when I go to school and I won't be taking the car with me.
