Thule Roof Rack
I had a Yakima one on mah GSR. it was cool until I saw it can eat where the door meshes with the frame of the car. Now it sits in the garage. So I will wait till I get something more worth of racking on the car. SUV or a Subaru. Otherwise, jast dump your gear in the teg

Why not? my R wants to take some beautiful pics on the mountain side where it all whites..

come on.. it is a car... better use it than to become chopped parts on eBay, right?

Heh, I wish it was an R.
Oh, it's a Yakima btw, not a Thule. Like Britney Spears' breasts, they're both nice racks.

I used to have a Thule rack w/ a ski atachemnt... worked great, but looked kinda
IMO, some people said it made the car look sporty, I dunno about that. I would recommend it if you're going to get a roof rack, it was $170 w/ 4 pair ski holder attachment which is now mounted on my '99 CR-V.

actually I just want to see how it looks.. hehehe... heavy duty ITRs..
i've got one on my car and its great. That blue car needs a strech kit on it. You don't want to have the crossbars so close together especally when you have bikes on top. I love my yakama rack
I've got a Thule fo rmy road bike and it's only been on for about 6 months this year, but as long as you don't tighten it down with Hulk Hogan force, it shouldn't cause dents. It may tend to scratch, but if you put some chamois cloth underneath or thin neoprene it should protect it pretty good.
Even in Florida, the rack will only need to be on the car for 6 months or so out of the year (for biking, anyway). Damn daylight savings time.
TIPS:
Get the wind screen!!! Otherwise at 60mph, it sounds like the roof of the car is going to tear off.
The rack sucks about 1.5 mpg from normal, although the AEM cai adds about that same amount, so I was still getting between 25 and 27 mpg.
Hope that helps
