Default B16A or B18B?

After reading this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=926533

I am wondering if I should keep my 2000 Si b16 swap or build an LS swap for my civic dx coupe?

I wanna keep it ALL MOTOR and under $1000.

Which one would you choose and why?

keep ur b16a and use the 1000 to work it

rather then spend the 1000 to build the b18b swap.

thanks for the imput.

Any sites or links that give instructions on how to do an LS/VTEC....you know the tapping of oil lines or some bullshit like that.
