Default Antenna Removal

Has anyone removed their antenna? I am having a hard time doing it without denting the body, and just getting generally pissed off. Anyone know how to get the thing out of there?

TAKE 2 SCREWDRIVERS AND STICK THEM IN SLOTS ACROSS FROM EACH OTHER AND UNSCREW IT THEN GO BEHIND THE PLASTIC AND UNDO THE BOLTS AND IT FALLS RIGHT OUT

there's a tool that's made specifically for that purpose....

on another note, i did it with a pair of pliers being really careful not to scratch the paint.

make sure the antenna is fully extended upwards too! good luck.

To remove the crown on the top, i just wrapped some channel lock pliers with duct tape, and unscrewed it. Also, put a towel under you so you don't ruin the paint.
