Default flywheel question

i just left my car in the shop yesterday.. guy said he would put in my clutch for $300... i dunno if thats a deal or not but i think it is cuz i acutally got hooked up to do this. but i asked the guy if he was gonna resurface the flywheel.. he said no hes just gonna clean it up.. the question is if it doesnt get resurfaced can that mess up my clutch?

i doubt it will actually ruin your clutch any, but if your flywheel is warped at all, your gonna get clutch chatter when you are engaging the disk.....$300 isnt too bad, but doesnt sound like a "hooked-up" price....

You're a pretty quick worker

I would make sure to get the flywheel resurfaced,
any time the clutch is replaced.

Hopefully it's not too late

Not the engine, just the tranny.

I would advise against doing this w/o a Helms manual.

Damn, I replaced my clutch about 2 months ago and there's a lot of chatter and vibration. I knew I should've done it myself. They only charged me $150 but I don't know if it has damaged my clutch. Should I just get a new clutch again?
