obd1 vs obd2
Well, I'm pretty sure that obd-I b18b's (Teg LS motors) from 94-95 take better to bolt-ons than obd 2 non-vtecs. BUT, 96-01 LS's have more power stock than older obd-1 Integra motors, just are the more complex & less rewarding to untuned I/H/E mods=obd-2
Whats worse than this post is the answers given.
94-95 LS had 142hp and was OBD1
96-01 LS had 140hp and was OBD2
94-95 GSR had 170hp and was OBD1
96-01 GSR had 170hp and was OBD2
ACTUALLY in 00 there was a second version of OBD2 I believe it was OBD2a. I am not positive.

furious94ls, do you have the torque #'s as well? wasn't the 94-95 LS (b18b1) 127 lb./ft. of torque? did torque drop off like power did for obd-2? gmrnguyen is vague, what is the ???

Basically it's easier to tune if you have OBD1. If you have OBD2 or 2a you have to spend more money to convert or use different systems. OBD1 cars have 1 o2 sensor. They require less emissions testing and reduction.
there are more tunning parts and less worry about emisions
with obd1 not only that is cheaper cause there is plenty of competition.
but both respond the same to tunning
