Default Type R throttle body and intake manifold

I was just wondering if you guys think that it is really worth the extra money to go out and buy maybe a JE Edelbrock intake manifold and throttle body. The Type R's is pretty good i know.

Would buying them really help out my power at all? Or should I just save up my $1300 and get my hytech header i have been wantign sooo much?

Turbo.

Really, the stock stuff is pretty good... I wonder if anyone here has dynoed before/after TB/manifold... ITB's are probably the all-out way to go though.

You'll gain far more with the header than with a larger intake plenum. The JG intake manifold is better suited for boosted applications.

Ok well I guess I will be saving up for the header then. Could someone check out this website http://www.lovefab.com. It is the guy who makes the custom headers i was talking about.

Tell me what you think of his work. He will be in a competition verses hytech soon.

Do a search to find out information on headers.

It is one of the most visited topics in this forum.

We're not going to spoon feed you, you have to take some initiative to find the answers you seek on your own.
