Since you got such a steal on the motor I would go and buy a hydro tranny. Like previously stated why go hydro to cable? Send that conv. kit back.

I think he said that because they didnt send him instructions with the kit.
To original poster. why dont you just call the company you got it from and tell them to send you the instructions???

Im calling the people who sent the kit losers, because I payed 140.00 for a kit that they told me was simple to instal and the directions were included, the tranny is new just rebuilt, thats why I want it, I drove the car it was in and drives sweet. And I live upstate NY and have been looking for a hydro tranny and have had no luck, thats why as well...

well, it cant be too hard... take a pic of the parts it came with, and we will try to help obvioulsy u loose the slave cyl, and probably bolt up a cable with a mounting plate, and attach that to the pedal but thats about all i know lol
ill do my best to try to explain...
im guessing you relocate the slave cylinder to a location that will allow it to move a lever...when the lever is pushed down, it pulls your cable operated clutch lever up...just like a stock cable transmission works...
anyone else have input on this?

http://www.mmrusa.com/avidconversions.htm That is the link to the page I got the kit off of, if you scroll down halfway there is a picture of the exact parts I got, plus 4 bolts...
If you must keep it and go with Cable i suppose it would be the same but backwards of doing a hydro in a cable car originally.
From what i know that mount would bolt in on the back and that would hold it in place. Then you would just need to guide the cable line through to hook up to the tranny.
Sorry thats the best i could do without pics and such. That site doesnt have good pics either.
Try the Integra Forum for a guide to wire up the cable line.

Your problem is dealing with Avid. They're a joke and all of their stuff are poor knockoffs of HCP mounts - no R&D and not fitment testing so nothing of their's fit. I know this for a fact but I won't start a huge ordeal about it. If their hydro-cable conversion is anything similar to the HCP one, I have all of the instructions and templates for it since I did the R&D on it and wrote it up (email me). It's really not that difficult to hook up but if the parts were not made correctly, then you're probably going to get a 'dead pedal' feel quite often.
