put my new clutch & flywheel on last night, but i wasnt sure if you should grease the inside of the pilot bearing in the flywheel. the helms wasnt very descriptive. also, it said something about a crankshaft dowel pin. is there supposed to be one in the middle of the crank behind the pilot bearing, cause i didnt have one. just looking to put my questions to rest before i put the tranny back on.
you can grease it if you want, just stick your finger in some oil and...well, finger it
(I know, that was terrible)

There is no reason to grease it. It's a sealed bearing.
If you put too much there, it could spin out onto the clutch surface.
On older domestic cars (with a manual transmission), you would grease it, but it was due to it's being a bushing (not bearing).

Thats the point of the bearing, so it can spin freely.

ok-not gonna grease it. the helms didnt say to grease it, but i was just double checking. good point on the too much grease too, i think i might need to go take a little off of the outside of the throw out bearing cause i applied it "liberally"
