Default 99 gsr getting ready for the b20 setup!

i just picked up another b18c1 block with just the crank. i have one in my 99 gsr already. i'm planning on boring it out to 84mm and run about 12.1 compression.

setup will be:
gsr head, ctr cams, ctr valvetrain
and i/h/e
just to start.

i was wondering what else you guys would recommend that i get along with this b20 drop

what i'm getting so far:
sleeves
wiseco pistons/rings
and blockguard..

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much.

it's not a b20 if it's a b18c1

i believe he's boring it out to 84mm. that's 2.0L. i suppose you can call that a b20.

forged pistons with a resleeved gsr block?
block off the oil squirters.
ask golden eagle watsup.

be careful of who you let sleeve your block.

considering the price and hassle of boring out the b18, would it be better just to get a crv bottom end and drop the pistons in? could the crv stock block handle forged 12.1 compression?

B20's dont like compression over 11:1 and high revs. Sleeved B18 should be more reliable as long as the sleeve job was done right
