i heard that the HID head lights with the jdm conversion will not work cause of the huge ABS in the 94 teg. how do i work around this with out loseing my HIDs is there away i can mount the ballast somewhere else or what.....i need some help before i go and spend the money on a hid front end.

hmmm i dont know .....mine is a 97 and its got hid conv. but im not sure bout the abs thing i didnt do the conv. so hmm...good question haahah

yeah i heard somewhere that the 94-97 tegs have the large abs unit, and the HID system and to be worked someway, but the 98-01 are fine cause they have the smaller abs systems. I"m just trying to figure out if this is true or not

 

OEM HID yes.. after market HID kit will moutn fine i have a 00 LS w/ JDM front end. and i have seen the HID JDM head lights and it huge.. i have seen it installed on 94-97 models, but its VERY tight. i say aftermarket.

My buddy had no problems with his 95, and he has the larger ABS unit as well. I know he had to get the jdm washer fluid tank in order to make room...

 

I had a 95 w/ the hid front and ran into the same problem, with a little tweeking you should be alright, but i would go ahead w/ aftermarket hid anyway

 

all you have to do is relocate the abs unit. theres some pics floating around here somewhere
