Ebrake Warning Light..

Default Ebrake Warning Light..

Ok last night i pulled my ebrake really hard and yea.. i went out to the store and when i got back into the car.. i started my car and put the ebrake down.. and the warning light stayed on.. the ebrake was disengaged.. but the light still stays on.. its really annoying me anyway to fix this? thanks in advanced..

Check your brake fluid, its usually that. If not that there is a short some where.

check your brake resavor for fluid. i'f it's low the light will come on.

iono if its that cuz like i pull'd it like a bitch this one day and like the light doesnt want to turn off.. like yea ive been watching it.. like the ebrake light is bright when the ebrake is on but when its off it gets slightly dimmer? iono.. somethings wrong wit it..

mine did that for a while then one day i got in my car and it was gone. Don't know why it does that **** damn 14 year old car!

Im not sure how the mechanism closes the ground loop in order to make the light go on. Maybe you tore/cracked/broke it by pulling so rough on it. Take your ebrake cover off and poke around... maybe you tore the wire or something.
