Its made my ARC. Its a paper filter, and you can NOT get a replacement filter at Pepboys. You will need to order one from a shop.

Don't waste your money, just get an AEM, Injen, Comptech, etc...

I already have a Comptech Ice Box but I was curious because I was wondering if I could make one in my metal shop.

That would be a neat idea. If you think about it, its the same as a short intake. It sucks in hot air. A better idea would be to make the arm piece like ARC.

ARC filters are available in paper or foam. If you want to make your own box, make sure you make it with the DUAL inlets. U could size (the opening) differently so that it could accept an easier to find panel filter.

Here's a pic of the box (EK version) disassembled:

Yea I've seen the pics before it looks quite simple and I can get alminum pretty cheap. I was wondering how big the filters were to be able to draw a schematic.

There is going to be an intake dyno soon I think(similiar to the headers test).
Wait a while and look for the results.

Which K&N would I need for an integra?
Is the ARC good for low or high end power?

I think the arc is for top end power seeing how it sits like a short ram. The construction is very simple it is basically just a box with a tube out the back and a angle in the front.

No one has answered one question though......what are the demensions of the filter in (mm)??

For the EK (Civic) box, [both] filters are 9 inches WIDE and 8.5 inches TALL.

I think the upcoming intake test will show the ARC gains in the midrange without any kind of "dip" but sacrifices 3-5 peak hp.
