Default Fields and MAP code!?!?!?

I keep getting a 3 blinkes code on my ECU but no check engine light. I'm running a Fields SFC-Vtec controller and have it soldered into the wiring harness right before the ECU. 3 blinkes is the MAP sensor code, correct? Anyone else had this problem? Setup is PM6 ECU. I've reset the ECU many times and it keeps coming back on.

3 blinks is map. check continuity of your solder joints, then try removing map and see if it (the sensor) holds vaccuum with a vaccuum gauge. it should. if it does, start the motor, let it idle and check to feel suction in the throttle body hole where the map sits. if you dont, its blocked by something.

if this doesnt do it, check continuity from the map sensor plug all the way to ecu lead at pin 14 (green/white) and 15 (yel/red) for obd-0

I don't think I've fixed it. I heard that the Fields can cause this problem. I'm thinkin about ditchin the Fields for either a simple rpm activated switch or I might upgrade to a P28 OBD-1 setup with harness and everything.
