Default HELP: Taking alternator out of a gsr...
GSR motor in RS shell.....

is it possible to take it out without taking anything else off...

ive been trying for the past 30 minutes and my guess is no..

do you have a manual?

there are only really two bolt, and a belt holding it on. also the wiring harness is plugged into it.

nono, thats the easy part.... i mean physically taking it out of the car...

it wont fit through bottom, and i cant get it out through top...

hmmmmm....

you can prolly remove the MC from the booster to clear some space... of course as a last resort.

ack, im sittin here in front of comp tryin to get this finished, lol

was hoping someone would know definately what to do..

yeah its a bitch! I dropped my axel, and i might have even loosened the exhaust, just to get the damn alt out! i think after you do that it will have some room to come out

damn....... i figured you would have to take the axel off (was the only visible spot it could come out).... sucks

oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do right.. lol
