Default New rims. Need your guys opinions.

I ordered Work RSZ-Rs in June. We've had problems with shipping. 2 sets so far have been lost in the mail through usps (lets not get into it). Anyway, I believe there are no more RZR-Rs available because he's offering to send out TE37s. I need your help in your opinions on what would go nice on my ARRrrr (with the performant part included) I'd like them to be forged 15x7 under 11 pounds.

From what I've searched is that the only rims having this criteria are the Volk TE37 and the Work RSZ-R. Any other rims? Also can people post a black ITR with TE37s please. Here's a pic of my car.

TE-37s would be a good choice on a black R. btw, the color of your car looks just like jdmspoonitr's car.

Pic of his car please? I'm curious to see it. My car is Lexus Grapite grey pearl if ever. Itd be cool to see someone that chose the same color. Many people have said they might be painting their car the same color as mine...

SW388s are made in a 15x7 but not as common as the 15x6.5. You could look for a set of Racing Hart CP-035s, you can get 15x7 (and maybe 15x7.5), they're forged and I think the 15x7 actually weighs under 10lbs.

Ya. When I bought the car it was completly keyed from top to bottom because the owner left it outside for a while when he went on vacation. Anyway, he sold the car to me and the deal was to have his insurace pay for the paintjob and i put in some more so the color could be changed. It was MR before.

I prefer having a car that does not stand out. Im just not a MR person. Since the car was going to be painted I prefered to not have 'another' integra. When I go to town at any time I see a good 10-20 integras. So I like being a bit different.

I honestly like the wheels you have now. JDM/Euro ITR wheels = :drooool:

Maybe have them powdercoated dark gunmetal or so as to not stand out as much?

Beautiful car. When you get darker rims it will look even better.

What about Buddy Club P1 Racing QF ? They are forged and weigh in @10.3lbs.

Here's a pic of my car with these, mine is 16x7" Gunmetal:

Could I please ask about those lights on the wings? Are they signal blinkers or just marker lights?

Are they Honda or Acura parts? If so, tell me what model they're from. I've been thinking of doing something similar. I don't drive the car all that much on the street anymore, but if I'm in traffic I think signal markers on the wings would be a good idea.

Do you mind if I ask what you're doing with the car that you want forged wheels?

For what most people do with the cars, forged wheels are an unnecessary expense. People tend to forget, too, that forged wheels are not invincible. I have broken a Spoon 16x7 SW388 clean through one spoke, although I must admit the car was subjected to a hell of a lot of track miles that year.

You seem to not mind white wheels on a black car. In that case, I'd suggest either of the two sets of 15x7 wheels that I use in addition to the 16x7 Spoons.

SSR Type C 15x7 +38. Strong. They'll bend before they break. Mine were pretty cheap and came off of an ex-World Challenge car.

Kosei K1 15x7 +38. OK, these are not forged; however, as I said, I think most people are buying more wheel than they really need. These wheels are a cult favourite, very popular, and you'll see them on many track cars, including mine. The best thing is that they're very inexpensive.

George knighton, thanks for the reply. Helps a lot.
To answer your questions:

- These lights are OEM for us in europe. Origionaly they were amber and poked out a bit more. I changed them to clear/crystal ones off the 4 door civics that roll around here.

- White rims do bother me on my car. Once again if my car was black white rims wouldnt bother me that much and breakdust on white rims is just a nightmare.

- I'm saying forged rims because I'm paying enough already I want reliability. That's all.

These rims I have on now are 15x6 and I want to ride on 205s, I am on 205s and it's a nightmare on how the tires dont sit well on them.

... that's when the rims are clean.. after about 15kms they are BLACK... It's horrible. Im keeping them as winter rims. these rims are 15x6 i really want a wider rim.

I think everybody's looking at the pattern and thinking they're JDM 16x7 +45.

Here are pics of Anton's (OneGreyTeg) caR at Limerock last week. IMO TE37's are hot wheels. Just too expensive for me

wow... not bad at all. im going to have to think about this.

My choices have come down to this because possibilities have come up.

Work RSZ-R - same price as I paid
Volk TE37 - same price
Rota Slipstream - thinner 6.5" but I save a lot of money and I won't care if I scratch them etc... Put the rest of the money into suspension.

There are no 15x7" 5x114.3 SW388s.

Add RealRacing R2 to your list. 15x7" +42 offset ~10-11 lbs.

There's a special run of 15x7 5x114.3 Rota Slips being made for the ITR. You can contact the person running the purchase in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1020574.

SSR Type-C are good wheels. And as far as bending before they break I can vouch for that!
