We started getting interest in this idea in the Type R forum. Currently, Rota does not have a 15x7 wheel with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, and +40mm offset. There are few inexpensive 15x7 wheel options for ITR owners. We're offering the 15x7 GT-3's and 15x7 Slipstreams in the 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern for the Integra Type R/Civic Type R. All standard colors available. All GT-3's come with colored spokes and polished aluminium lip. (See http://www.jlbmotorsports.com or http://www.rotawheel.com for pics).

PRICING
If we receive 5-9 buyers, the price is $415 per set. If we receive 10+ Buyers, the price is $400 per set. More than 15 buyers, and we can probably get an even larger discount.

DEPOSIT/SHIPPING
We will collect a $40 deposit to confirm your placement in the order, and when the wheels arrive in the U.S., the balance will be due in full before we ship.
Shipping will be calculated at a flat $50 per set, UPS/Fed-EX, fully insured. See below for deposit info.

SPECIAL ORDER WAIT TIME
The approximate wait time once we send the order to Rota is 60-90 days. These wheels will be manufactured specially for those in this group buy. These wheels are not normally available, and thus there will be a 2-3 month wait time.

Despite what they originally told us, Rota is only manufacturing the Slipstream in Black (GT-3's should be fine). Those who ordered Slipstreams in any color other than black have already been refunded. If you had ordered another color, and did not receive your refund, please PM us or e-mail Info@jlbmotorsports.com as you should have received your refund. Approximately 13-14lbs.c

 

It's funny how many DC2 ITR and DC5 people used to lament that they couldn't get Rota Slips in five-bolt 15x7 size. I don't see those posts much anymore...maybe we've all gone on to other wheels already.

It's a good price point. I hope you get more response.

 

Yea surprises me that people aren't jumping on this. If I had 5 lug I would definately get these wheels from them. But instead I bought 4 lug Rotas from them for my GSR

I know! In 2 months when evyerone posts how they can never find some cheap 15x7 wheels in 5 lug, Im going to slap them.

You didn't. Just give them a IM.

 

this lack of interest happened at the exact same time last year when mr. heeltoe tried to get a group buy going for the atech finalspeeds. i think it's down to the time of the year. people aren't looking for new wheels now. they're looking to put winter tyres on, or put the car away for the winter or save for christmas shopping.

just my opinion. i hope it works out.
