Default vafc help

i have a vafc and a unkown harness (I think its avcr) it plugs in but the wire colors dont match up my question is i go with the colors off the vafc or off the harness i have. before you flame me i have never installed one before and i dont wanna **** up my ecu so i just wanna make sure that i use the colors coming off the vafc so i dont have to make a i installed a vafc and fucked my car up thread please only let me know if you know for sure cuz im bout 80% sure just lookin for a definate yes

the wire color on the harness should match up with that of the VAFC. the harness u have is not the one that came with the VAFC? You should only be using 9 wires (some of the wires u dont use): 2 for ground, 2 for MAP sensor, 2 for VTEC, 1 for power, 1 for RPM, 1 for Throttle position sensor. i think thats it but i might be forgetting a wire. just make sure u match the color on the VAFC unit to the wires on the ECU and not the harness wire color (if the harness colors are different from the VAFC colors)
