i have a 1995 civic ex and the stereo is still stock....can i take it out (if so how?) and stick in a new stereo? if i can do i need to bunch the wires together n all or are they all in a little black clippy thing u just stick in the back of the cd player?

second question....on my civic the right head light works but not the left....and my left blinker light is always on (solid light, not blinking). how should i fix this? do any places like meineke or something similar fix it?

 

To get your stock radio out, you'll first need to remove the panel that contains your ash tray and cig lighter. There are screws at the bottom on each side, and 2 more under the lip pointing straight up. Pull that panel out, and you'll see a cross bar with 2 gold (or silver) 8mm screws in it. Use an 8mm socket to get them out, and then reach your hand up in there and push the radio out from behind. Unplug the antenna and the white connector. Done. Now, go to Best Buy and get a 70-1720 connector so you don't have to cut any wires, then match up the colors on that harness to the one that clips into the new stereo. Put the mounting sleeve in the hole and bend down the appropriate tabs, then slide the new deck in.

Second question: Go to walmart or any other place that sells headlight bulbs and buy a pair. Change the blown bulb out with a fresh one. That will cure the headlight problem.

Not sure about the turn signal issue, though... Flasher relay maybe? Does that bulb flash if you put your hazard lights on???

 

For the turn signal it might be the connector itself that is screwed up.
