Default yet another R with a dyno plot

here are the mods

AEM CAI (torque hump )
MEGAN RACING 4-1 2.5" collector header
test pipe
t1R b-pipe w/ spoon n1 axle back
chipped p28 (ih8ricerz)
vafc (barely tuned)

ok first off the tuning........ the deal was i bought a coupon for 3 free pulls on the local dyno with wideband for only $10! haha i didnt feel like spending more money so i only had 2 chances to tune between the 3 runs..... thats why the a/f is still not up enough

the other thing was i pulled in 4th gear cus i was un-aware to pull in 3rd (a friend later told me to pull in 3rd) so the numbers could/should be higher if i pulled in the right gear? is this true? and if so how much of a difference could that have made?

anyways on to the dyno and for those who cant read it was 176/124 in 4th gear

holla

That is nice that they let you play with the VAFC.

yea its ok.... but i do have to say that i believe the megan racing header, although claimed to be 2.5" is 2.38 or whatever cus the gasket from my old dc jdm 4-1 is too big

but to answer your question...... you can run a 2.5" collector on a stock exhaust if you wanted to

4th is closer to 1:1 ratio so in theory should be more accurate.

In general, I agree, and my dyno is in 4th gear.

But from what I've read on here, people seem to get better numbers in 3rd, which points to either less drivetrain loss in 3rd, or m@d 3erd gear VTECH YO!

P.S. That's a hot red X (Edit: I see it now, we-todd was having a bad day yesterday..)
