did motor swap on 93 del sol w/99 civic si 1.6 dohc vtec. oil leak comin from around head. replaced head gasket. still leaking though. appears to be coming from around distributer. is it possible to lose 1 quart of oil about every 2 days. could it be mistaken for a blown head gasket. also seem to have a vaccum leak. rpm's fluxuate between 1000 and 3000. would that be a vaccum line or mass air flow sensor or am going in the comlete wrong direction. yes i got my head checked out before replacing head. and i had a mechanic torque it down just to be sure.

 

Your oil leak could be from the cam seals.....mine on my JDM B16A is leaking. I'm replacing it with a STR Cam Seal (purchase on ebay or I got mine from pacificperformance.com). I had a vacuum leak with my swap too, I just took it to the local Honda dealership and let them fix it (didn't have the time to fix it....stupid college).
