Default regulator question!!!h22a4!

i have a all motor h22a4 99 base lude i have a dc sport header, 2 1/4 custom exhaust(no resonator no cat)ur underdrive pulley,11:1:0 pistons,msd wires and a stock euro r accord wagon h23a regulator,im running 40 low pressure and 48 in high,is that to much fuel for my lude?i feel the car running hard,when im street racing or on the track everytime a shift a gear a little black smoke comes out of the exhaust but it does this only when i race,m i running to much fuel?

stock pressure at wot or the vacum line off is 50 psi +/- 2 psi.

so yes you are fine. preludes always have been a little rich.
