Default question about gsr block with type r head

whats up guys i was wonderin if it would be smart to put a type r head on a gsr block would i feel a big difference from a straight gsr or should i just build up a gsr. also would vtech kick in harder. thanx a lot

dont forget that the type r head is factory port and polish
so you will see the difference at the top end since you are
eliminating the secondary intake valve.
but at the same time you have to change your ecu or else you
will have a CEL

The stock ITR port job is minimal at best. You could probably get the same flow charectoristics with a valve job on your GSR head.

Not to mention the stock gsr head has larger quench pads, so switching to an ITR head would drop compression.
