yeah..the p72 would be the ideal ecu for your set up/considering your gonna keep the stock intake manifold. What year vehicle is this motor going into?

if u are uising a knock sensor then the p72 is usedm if no knock sensor a ex 92-95 socketed with any program should work.

the easiest thing to do is use a obdo pr3/pwo. with single stage intake manifold.
since your car is obdo correct>?

or u can do the obd1 conversion and run a p72, or p28/30/ etc with aib conversion.

HOLY COW!!! I hope thats a BRAND NEW TYPE R COMPUTER still in the package and gold plated for that price!!!!

Since your obd 0, you can either convert to obd 1, or you can just run a obd0 vtec ecu in the mean time. The ones that will work are pr3 and pw0. But keep in mind, those are b16a ecu's so your secondaries in your stock gsr IM wont be working.

wrong not any program will work best with ls/vtec

best bet is to get a p28 (since you are not using the gsr intake)
with hondata or apexi vafc controllers
an ls/vtec requires more tunning so it doesnt blow up.

I would recommend using a P28 because it doesnt look for the knock sensor... if you use a ECU that does look for the knock sensor then you will be throwing a CEL
