burnt headlight wiring?
i got an eg hb. i recently installed the dual halo projector headlights in my car. ran them for about 2 weeks with the stock h3 bulbs then i got some generic h3 superwhites. regular 12v 55w. nothing that should do any damage to the wiring on the car, but a few days ago my passenger headlight wouldn't go on. the halos light up, daytime running light lights up. i checked all the wiring and everything is intact. it can't be a fuse cause then both sides of headlights wouldn't work along with daytime running lights. then i finally today took the passenger assembly out and hook up the main headlight wiring from driver side and the headlight lighted up. so it must be the wiring on the car then? if so how far do i have to run a new wire? also which wire is it? there's 3 wires.
i was trying to test it out by plugging the passenger side to the driver side. only thing is i couldn't get the 3 wires off the plug. i was prying with needle nose pliers and the wires are somehow held on by something. is that how you tested yours? or did you do it another way?
