There was a topic about this a while back where an alarmed car was broken into. I have a cituation here and I need to know something. My alarm disabler remote was stolen and I have no way of disabling the alarm now, but I do have car key.

My question is: how do you locate the valet button especially if it's well hidden? Also, someone suggested to disconnect the wires from the alarm brain. How do I locate the brain?

I really don't want to destroy the alarm system, I am getting a new remote and I am going to reprogram it.

 

I recommend taking the alarm to the person you got to install it.

When they installed your alarm they should have told you where the button is, and where they put the brain at.

 

Yeah, that would definately make scence. If I knew who installed my alarm system. I bought this car 3 years ago with the alarm already being there. It is a bit too sencitive to evertything. It churps when cars drive by.

 

Damn buddy, best thing I can tell you is to get under the hood and remove the siren. Work on finding it from there. You can also order a new remote if you know what kind of alarm it was.
