Default 6.5K rev limit?

Safe mode im assuming.

No Vtec, bad gas mileage. No codes. B18C with a chipped p28.

Cant figure this one out. All the sensors are there and hooked up.

always.

Only put 1500KM on the car since ive started driving it.

My buddy has a GSR swap in a 4dr 92 Civic and it pulls way harder then mine.

The i started thinking... No vtec, hits 6.5K rev limit. But theres no codes.

Any idea's?

Bad ecu chip. Switch over a stock ECU if you can and test it out so you can find out if the motor is the problem or not.

I have been thinking it was a bad ecu.

I have no one to test it, and no other ecu to test in my car.

I could just replace the chip though, think it may be just the chip? Its one of blown90hatches,.

Probably just the chip; is the chip a generic or is one that was specifically made with your base-maps and other goodies?

I had the same exact problem. I pulled the Vtec solinoid and cleaned the screen and it worked fine. Give that a try
