an-r header
i am looking to get a an-r header compact version for my car i just want to know how the ground clearence is my car sits low and i dont want to mess it up should i get the anr or just get a jdm type r with a skid plate? thatnks
The compact header doesn't sit any lower then your oil pan. I have one and very happy with it. Its only a 2.5 inch piece of pipe that runs under your oil pan they merge 4 into 1 about the top of the oil pan. The DC sport and ITR's 4-1 I've seen numerious posts of them crushed on the front 2 pipes....And I've seen it in person in DC 4-2-1 headers...

sweet do u think it is worth getting the an-r over the jdm 4-1 type r header? dose it hang a lil lower than the oil pan i am already having problehems hitting the stock header but i plan to raise the car back up to closer to stock ride hight with stiffer springs o and dose it come with a flange if i get the street version? thanks
no flange with street or race. difference between street and race is the collector, not the flange.
our headers normally sit even with or higher than the oil pan.
they are definitely worth getting over jdm itr header. our merge header makes 8-9whp more than ported jdm itr header and our street collector makes 5-6whp more than a ported jdm itr header.
