Default Turbo Ls + Skunk 2 Intake Mani =?

I know I just saw a post about this a week ago but I can't find it. Anyways....I want to know if a Skunk 2 is going to help with a Stock Ls Turbo Setup? Is it worth holding on to or should I sell it?

yea, if it's turbo it should be good. if it's NA with stock rev limiter then it's a waste of money

Back from the dead, i'm lookin to do the same thing, Stock LS with rebuild and turbo setup. Is a skunk 2 IM go for Turbos? I got the extra money now to buy one so was wondering. Future mods after turbo or maybe before since its easier is cams, head P&P, valvetrain work and that should do it. When I can I'll grab up the Skunk 2 TB if the IM is worth it.

It honestly does nothing for you until you've done ALOT more work to the motor.

With lets say 12psi of boost (or more) and a ported head etc etc and a nice valvetrain, then you'lll see the benefits.

Otherwise, forced induction is forced induction. That airs gonna get in there pretty damn fast no matter what size the hole is

sell that **** to me!!!!!

here is the deal peoples:
the ls stops making torque around 5k, and power falls shortly after. this is due to cam profile, port configuration and intake manifold. larger plenum and shorter runners make more power high in the rpms. this will help you make more power and increase the powerband a few hundred rpms(more when combined with cams/headwork). when you are talking forced induction, an increase in flow capability will increase power dramatically over n/a form, because you have that much more air to work with.

i have seen ls heads with crower 402T cams, skunk 2 intake manifolds and very mild portwork make 20 hp per psi. thats badass .

keep the manifold. any gains you would have gotten with it n/a will be dramatically increased when turbo.

or sell it to me and ill throw it on and dyno to prove my point
