I had an old JVC cd deck and decided to put it in. I bought a universal connecter, connected the wires from the deck to the connecter and then connected it to the main plug from my car. Now when I hook up the wire plug to the deck it comes on and puts "see you" on the screen and shuts off. And if I hit display on the face plate it will show the time and the antenna will go up and then back down and then it shuts off.

I have two wires not hooked up, an orange wire and a orange and white wire but it says my unit does not use them. I have all the other wires hooked up correctly as I have went over it a couple times. I have the ground wire from the deck connected to the black wire coming off of the universal connecter, it is not grounded to the chassis ( I figured it would be grounded through the main wire loom.)

Any help anyone can give is greatly appreciated.
