.....weren't they were bi-turbo V6's?

V6 twin turbo , and before that, inline-5 single turbo

probably because americans always want the biggest motor you can fit between the fenders. i used to think like that when i had my 70 chevelle SS 454, nothing can beat cubic inches. then i bought a grand national, it shoot down my redneck way of thinking and i been hooked on boost ever since.

It was a bi-turbo V-6, actually. Too many mechanical problems with the turbo motors prompted them to switch to an all-motor V-8 is what I have been told.
